From the moment you step up to the front desk at Houk Chiropractic’s Northpointe location, it’s clear that Emma is more than just a warm welcome—she’s a source of encouragement and calm in the daily rhythm of the clinic. Whether answering phones or guiding a new patient through their first visit, Emma approaches every interaction with compassion, grace, and an infectious smile.

Grace, kindness and team spirit

Though she’s been with Houk Chiropractic for just a few months, Emma’s impact is already deeply felt. Her teammates describe her as someone who brings a consistently positive presence, cares deeply about others, and is always eager to help or learn something new. Her natural warmth and willingness to go above and beyond for both patients and team members exemplifies what it means to embody the Heart of Houk.

A calling to cure

Emma shares that her calling to work at the front desk began long before she joined the team—she was always intrigued by the work of receptionists in healthcare, and now she’s living that vision in real life. Her friend (and fellow Heart of Houk recipient) Gracie encouraged her to apply, and the rest is history.

Faith that fuels her joy

Inspired by her faith, Emma says that her strength to care for others comes from God. She sees each patient as an opportunity to serve, greet with a smile, and make feel truly seen. A recent favorite moment came when a patient called in to say they were walking pain-free for the first time in years after a massage. For Emma, hearing that kind of transformation reinforces the powerful work the Houk team does every day.

Joy beyond the front desk

Outside the office, Emma enjoys time with her friends and family, painting, hiking, reading, and tossing a frisbee on sunny afternoons. Her energy, empathy, and genuine kindness bring joy to everyone around her.
